After almost three years, the PedWest border crossing re-opened on January 9 – with limitations. For now, the PedWest border crossing will only accept northbound traffic on the western side of San Ysidro’s Port of Entry and will be open daily from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. With this re-opening, travelers can hope for reduced wait times and a more efficient border crossing.
