Chamber partner, the San Diego Military Advisory Council (SDMAC), recently released its annual Military Economic Impact Report (MEIR), which highlights the significant influence of federal defense budgets, veteran benefits, and the military community on San Diego’s economy. The 2025 MEIR is the result of SDMAC’s strong collaboration with the UC San Diego Rady School of Management.

Chamber President and CEO Chris Cate spoke in support of the report’s rollout to recognize SDMAC’s research, convening power, and steadfast partnership—key elements that help our region speak with one voice on military and defense issues.
