The Chamber is excited to host a Ribbon Cutting celebration with Le Jaime Apartments and help welcome them to their new location!

Le Jaime exemplifies the transformative power of thoughtful infill development, turning an underutilized apartment site into a vibrant, modern community. The architecture features clean lines, contemporary materials, custom metal fencing, and refined finishes that enhance its street presence. Attention to detail is evident in artisanal metalwork, energy-efficient appliances, and water-wise landscaping, reflecting a strong commitment to sustainability and earning Green Globe certification from the Green Building Initiative. Leveraging the City of San Diego’s ADU density bonus program and applying creative design and construction, an additional 36 transit-oriented units were created by adding only 2290 square feet of construction on the existing footprint. With over 90% of units naturally affordable for moderate income earners, the community is beautiful, comfortable and affordable for San Diego’s workforce.
